Postpartum Health Coaching Series (8-week series, virtual). Offered Tues/Thurs, unless discussed
Combination of movement, education, pelvic floor and deep core concepts, and coaching!
Service Description
In this series, you will not only learn the concepts of how to rebalance and strengthen your body, core, and pelvic floor, but you will understand how to fully heal using lifestyle medicine and sustainable change. Dr B will take you through reconnecting with your core/pelvic floor, building stability on that connection, and setting a strong foundation to return to pain-free and leak-free activity. And you will have the benefit of an accountability partner for the 8 weeks of the program, and a constant resource to ensure your healing is going as expected. How it works: We will meet weekly, on zoom, for 45-60 minutes, over the course of 8 weeks. Book your first session, and then when we meet we will come up with a schedule that will work for you moving forward. As a certified Health & Wellness Coach, Dr B combines evidence-based coaching with years of clinical experience caring for women through every stage of life. She helps women take meaningful steps forward by developing greater self-awareness of patterns, figuring out what works and what’s important to them, discovering motivations and barriers, connecting the dots of their health experiences, and integrating this understanding into the context of their lives. Sometimes there is so much information to sift through and it is hard to know where to start. Sustainable behavior change and health improvement occurs with continual and adaptive curiosity and awareness. Dr B specializes in transitional times in women’s lives, such as pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and cancer/illness recovery, when having a strong foundation (physically and figuratively) can improve health and well-being. Dr B is trained in the HealthCORE Method, which is an evidence-based system of health coaching, with the added bonus of health pillar considerations (lifestyle medicine) and how they interact with each other. She will help you take a closer look at your own “whole-person” health and discover successes and gaps, and then implement a plan to start working toward improvement. True change occurs with a series of tiny steps, and you need to know where you are in order to get to where you are going!
